Mr. West was one of my favorite teachers. I only knew about part of his life adventures and am in awe of his life. He definitely left an impact on my life and helped me get through one of the toughest years of high school and teenage years. There were days in class when someone would ask him how was your weekend, or your swim, or bike ride? That was it were knew no work would be done that day. My condolences to the family.
