When I began teaching at SuHi , Bob was one of the first staffers to introduce himself to me as a Coach and History teacher. The discussion quickly shifted to deep sea spear fishing in Baja, surfing the East Cape, swimming and bodysurfing in La Jolla. The love of the Ocean made him seem like a kindred spirit. I shared all of those activities with Bob except for the hunting of large prey. Later I swam and Bodysurfed in LJ with him and listened to the amazing stories. I later would join him with Carlos and others on Cycling fun rides Mexicali to San Felipe Tecate - Ensenada. Anything we joined him in - he would make a special effort to make everyone feel "all in". I'll greatly miss Bob. He'll be missed by all.
