I truly loved coaching with Bob. Don’t tell Marva, but he and I were married for about 30 years!!! Hahaha!!! Morning, noon, and evening during football season we were always talking…trying to figure out ways to beat our opponents. Bob is the reason Sweetwater was so successful. He taught us all how to become better coaches. More importantly, he made those kids believe in themselves and become better young men. Those kids cherished him! He cared so much for them. He affected all of us in so many ways…all good. There will never be another Bob West!
